Question paper leak kingpin Shivakumaraiah dies of COVID-19

Tumkur: The mastermind behind the 2016 Pre University Exam question paper leak Shivakumaraiah, alias Guruji died due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, May 18. He was 60.

As per sources, Shivakumaraiah, who was wanted in over 25 cases was admitted to a hospital in Tumkur after he tested positive for COVID-19.

Shivakumaraiah was responsible for leaking the II PU Chemistry exam paper twice in the year 2016 and was also arrested in connection to the Gujarat Police Recruitment Question Paper Scam and had come out on bail.

He was nabbed first in 2010 along with Rajagopala Reddy and CT Basavaraj on charges of offering question papers to ComedK aspirants for money.
