Former CM Siddaramaiah discharged from hospital

Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah was discharged from the hospital on Monday.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru on June 1 after he was diagnosed with a high fever.
The 72-year-old leader had, however, tested negative for Covid-19. After undergoing a thorough checkup as advised by the doctors, a second Covid test was also done to confirm he was negative.
Siddaramaiah on April 29, received the second dose of the Covid vaccine at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.
