M’luru: Unemployed youth held for chain snatching

Mangaluru: Acting on a tip-off, police arrested a 24-year-old youth in connection with a chain-snatching incident that took place near Vidhyaadayinee High School in Surathkal here.

The arrested is identified as K S Shreyas, a resident of Durgabettu in Chikkamagaluru district. As per the police Shreyas has done his BCA but is unemployed.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon when the victim, a teacher was on her way to the school.
