Mangaluru: Woman flees after ditching husband at bus stop

‎Mangaluru: In a bizarre case, a woman fled after ditching her husband at a bus stand, a complaint  registered at the registered at Mangaluru South police station says.

According to the complainant, Shilpa (30) and her husband had come to Mangaluru from Koila village in Bantwal to visit Pilikula Nisargadhama. On reaching the service bus stop in Managaluru, Shilpa pretended to go to the washroom, instead boarded a bus to Udupi and escaped.

When she did not return, the clueless husband called her mobile phone which was not answered. The phone later switched off, the complaint said.

‎Shilpa is 5.2 ft tall, normal built, oily-black complexioned, wore a white and red churidar top with green pants. She speaks Kannada. Those who have any information about her whereabouts have been asked to contact Mangaluru South Police Station (0824-2220518).‎
