Dead Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin found on shores of Rabindranath Tagore Beach

Karwar: An Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin was found dead on the seashores of Rabindranath Tagore Beach, here on Sunday noon.
As per the reports, a team of veterinary doctors who conducted a post-mortem of the dolphin found that the dolphin had a natural death and not by any internal bleeding or eating unwanted substances. The doctors said that there were no plastic materials as such found in the stomach.
Regional Forest Officer Pramod said that it was a 35-year-old female dolphin seven feet in length.
This is the fifth dolphin in a year found dead on the coastline of the Uttar Kannada district.
