Re-examination for 545 PSI posts?

Bengaluru: Director General of Police Praveen Sood has said that the police department is ready to conduct a re-examination for filling the 545 PSI posts.

The PSI recruitment exam has been a subject of a lot of debate and discussion in the state police department and political circles, since the irregularities in the examination process came to light.

In a Tweet from the official Twitter handle, the DGP wrote: “We have conducted exams for RSI (CAR/ DAR), Spl RSI KSRP and PSI KSISF (tom). We are ready to conduct re-examine for 545 PSIs but waiting for court order which has restrained us from doing so till disposal of case. Will abide by court decision.”

Further, he said that the re-exam for 545 PSI posts will be held immediately after the 402 PSI posts are filled.
