B’luru police arrests techie on charges of murder after airhostess girlfriend falls to death

Bengaluru police arrested a youth on charges of murdering his girlfriend, who allegedly fell to death from the fourth-floor balcony of a residential building.
The deceased identified as Archana Dhiman (28) was working as an air hostess. The accused Adesh, who is a software engineer had been in a relationship with Archana for the past six months.
Recently Archana had arrived in Bengaluru from Dubai and was residing with Adesh at an apartment in Koramangala.
As per the police investigating the case, the couple used to fight frequently. On the day of the incident, the duo had been drinking. Adesh told police that Archana slipped from the balcony and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead. However, the police have filed a case of murder against Adesh based on suspicion of his involvement in her death.
Police have taken Adesh in custody, and the authorities are awaiting Archana’s post-mortem report to proceed with further action.
