Mangaluru: Fire at residential building in Bavutagudda

Mangaluru: A fire broke out at an apartment building in Bavutagudde in the city on Friday evening.

The fire was noticed on the 15th floor of the residential building. The Pandeshwar fire station sprang into action, swiftly rushing to the scene.

At the time of publishing, the fire has been successfully extinguished, but residual smoke remained.

Residents residing in the affected building were promptly evacuated.  Some residents suffered breathing difficulties due to inhaling smoke. There were no reported human casualties in the incident.

Investigations are currently underway.
