Under the leadership of district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak, a ‘massive protest march’ started from the Udupi district BJP office. The foot march will proceed to SP’s office in Bannaje via Udupi city bus station.

A ‘protest meeting’ is expected to be held and a petition will be submitted to the District Superintendent of Police demanding a thorough investigation into the case

Meanwhile, police have tightened security arrangements along the route of the protest march.  More than 800 policemen have been deployed to avert any untoward incident.
