Chikkamagaluru: Thieves decamp with Rs 14L from Canara bank ATM

Chikkamagaluru: Unidentified thieves decamped with Rs 14 lakh from a Canara Bank ATM machine near Housing Board Colony in Chikkamagaluru on Tuesday night.

The thieves broke open the ATM machine using a gas cutter. Before committing the theft, the gang disabled the CCTV camera in the ATM kiosk.

Bank officials and police arrived at the scene and an investigation is underway.
