Bajpe: Theft at Anganwadi Centre; pulses, cooker, fans stolen

Bajpe: In an incident of theft reported at an Anganwadi center under Yekkaru Gram Panchayat, miscreants decamped with eggs, pulses, jaggery, sugar, cookers, and fans.

On Tuesday, a staffer, who had locked the Anganwadi center on Saturday evening, found that the lock on the door was broken.

It was found that the cash, cooker and fans donated by donors as well as eggs, jaggery other pulses meant for the children had been stolen.

Upon receiving information, Bajpe police reached the spot, examined the CCTV footage, and began an investigation.
