Mangaluru: The Waqf Board will also fight the legal battle and back the Malali Mosque committee, according to DK District Waqf Advisory Committee Chairman Naseer L.

Until now, the struggle primarily involved the management board of Malali Masjid. However, in the upcoming days, the Waqf Board is prepared to join the legal fray, Naseer said.

“We possess all pertinent documents related to Malali Masjid, including survey records and RTC documentation. There is substantial evidence indicating the existence of a mosque in Adangal which predates RTC. We will present our records and vigorously defend our case. It’s crucial to note that misinformation is circulating on social media regarding the High Court’s stance on Malali Masjid,” he clarified.
