Senior Karnataka BJP Leader BB Shivappa No More

Bengaluru: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader BB Shivappa (89) has passed away on Monday morning here in the state capital following multi organ failure. The leader was being treated in a private hospital in the city for the last a few days.

Shivappa, played a significant role in building his party unit in Karnataka during its early days. He had led his party as BJP State unit president for three terms and also represented people for four times as MLA and MLC.

Karnataka state BJP President BS Yeddyurappa and other BJP leaders have expressed their grief over the death of senior leader of their party. BB Shivappa had served as political Guru of BS Yeddyurappa, senior BJP leader KS Eshwarappa and other number leaders of the party unit in Karnataka.
