Bengaluru: Karnataka chief secretary, K. Rathnaprabha has received appraisals from none other than the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a conference of IAS officers at Ambedkar International Centre, in New Delhi, on Tuesday.

It’s been a month into office and K. Rathnaprabha is already a centre of appreciation. Her tweet about a real life incident that took place 27 years ago has caught attention by the prime minister.

Five days ago K. Rathnaprabha tweeted about this incident. Her tweet read “Narsappa of Idapnur village Raichur said he was grazing sheep near a school & I was passing by as DC in my car, stopped called the school teacher & admitted him & now 27 years later he was before me as a constable.came to Thank Me!! Can’t believe small actions have lasting results.(sic)”

The tweet attracted over 5000 likes and in the recent meet PM Modi referred to the tweet and mentioned the incident while addressing the officials. He said that he found a tweet by a lady officer which was very inspiring. But he couldn’t recall her name.  He also mentioned that she is now a senior officer.
