Sufficient water will be supplied everyday: Mayor Kavitha Sanil

Mangaluru: Mayor Kavitha Sanil visited the Thumbe dam on Monday to look into the water level, post which she met media persons and expressed that MCC will not resort to water rationing this summer as water has been impounded up to 6 metres at the Dam.

She mentioned that this year, unlike last year water can be provided till the month of June and urged the city dwellers to use water sparingly. 

Sanil also mentioned that she has acted as per the promise she made while taking over charge as Mayor and has ensured storage of water at the 6-metre level at Thumbe.

Senior councillor Shashidhar Shetty and Abdul Rauf accompanied Ms. Sanil.
