Mangaluru: Slain Bajarang Dal activist Deepak Rao’s mother has allegedly received Rs.40 lakhs on her bank account. However, she is unable to withdraw the money as she does not have a PAN card.

It has been learnt that Deepak Rao was the bread winner in the family and the family was dependent on his earnings.

BJP members launched a social media campaign to raise funds for his family and in less than a week, the campaign brought in around Rs 40 lakh.

As Premalatha doesn’t have a PAN card yet, the bank officials have told that there can’t be any transactions made on it until they receive PAN details.

However, family members claimed that they have applied for a PAN card and within a few days the card would be issued.
