Congress coming to power by back door, says Yeddyurappa

Bengaluru: Karnataka State BJP chief B.S. Yeddyurappa told presspersons in his party office that the people of Karnataka will not accept a second-time rule of the Congress. He said that he condemns the attempts of the Congress to “subvert popular mandate” and try to “come back to power from the back door”. This is an obvious reference to the Congress trying to form a government along with the JD(S).
Yeddyurappa said that the people had rejected the rule of the Congress and its former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and had responded to the ideology of the BJP. He also pointed out the humiliating downfall of Siddaramaiah in his own constituency, as an example of how much the people did not wish for the Congress rule.
