IT sleuths raid Congress leader Ravi Gowda’s residence hours before polling

Bengaluru: Income Tax sleuths led a raid at the president of block Congress, Ravi Gowda’s house on Sunday May 27 evening hours before the RR Nagar Assembly constituency went to poll.
However Gowda claimed that no money was recovered during the raid.
Addressing the media, Congress leader D K Suresh condemned the raid. He alleged that the IT department has misused the BJP-led Union government and led the sudden raid on Gowda was to tarnish the reputation of the Congress a day before the polling.
