Bengaluru: In an unexpected development, Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Friday approached Infosys’ co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy and looked for his ability in enhancing the city’s woeful infrastructure.

“I went to Murthy’s home and looked for his direction on framing an expert committee to think about Bengaluru’s infrastructural issues, including waste management,” said Kumaraswamy.

The committee, to be lead by the Chief Minister, will meet once in two months to review the progress on infrastructural improvement and shrewd waste management.

“Murthy will present the details regarding the infrastructure advancement of Bengaluru, waste disposal systems and what increasingly the state government needs to improve the situation the following period of the IT business development,” said the announcement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.

Acknowledging Kumaraswamy for looking for his assistance, Murthy said he would present the plan in two months with proposals.

“I have been following Kumaraswamy’s activities even before he became the Chief Minister for the second time. I value his anxiety for the welfare of society, particularly farmers, as clear from his visit to Israel to find out about farming procedures that could be replicated in the state,” said Murthy in the announcement.

He likewise advised the Chief Minister to include the non-government organisations in the advancement of the city, its system, civic amenities and facilities.

Infosys and its opponent Wipro are the iconic brands that have put Bengaluru on the world guide by setting up the biggest software development centres and hiring a huge number of techies to compose codes for worldwide companies.
