Congress workers protest ‘dharna’ by BJP, AAP

New Delhi: Congress workers led by Ajay Maken today staged a protest outside the Rajiv Chowk metro station wearing anti-pollution masks, a statement said.

For the last three days, pollution in Delhi has crossed the severe mark and there is an emergency-like situation, but a strange drama is happening in Delhi, he said.

The BJP and the AAP both ruling parties (at the Centre and in Delhi respectively) are sitting on ‘dharna’ in air-conditioned rooms, said Maken.

“If Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will sit on a ‘dharna’, who will fight for the rights of the people of Delhi, who will fight for water and electricity, and against the pollution,” he said.
