Bengaluru: PWD Minister HD Revanna claimed that the Shiradi Ghat and Madikeri-Mangaluru would be prepared for light vehicular movement in a few days from now.

“Permission for the movement of light motor vehicles will be given after deputy commissioners and concerned officers of Hassan and Mangaluru districts certify,” he said.

“The government is considering to permit the movement of KSRTC Volvo buses,” he said.

“The two roads which were damaged due to landslides and heavy rains will be ready for light vehicular movement. I have discussed with officers about movement of vehicles on these two stretches. I won’t yield to anybody’s pressure.” Revanna said.
