Police seize 20 loads of illegally stored sand

Mangaluru: Panambur police have successfully located and seized 20 load of illegally stored sand from Kasba Bengre on Friday, November 2nd.
According to sources Panambur police received a tip-off regarding illegally stored sand at Kasba Bengre. Later, a police team headed by Assistant Sub-Inspector Purandar Gowda and head constable Shaliendra rushed to Kasba Bengre and located the 20 loads of sand being illegally dumped at a site here.
Panambur Inspector Rafeeq, later handed over the seized sand and case to the Deputy Director of Mines and Geology for further investigation.
