Explosion in LPG cylinder-laden lorry; Driver charred to death

Sagara: A man was burnt to death after the cylinder-laden lorry which he was driving exploded after it overturned at Mandigehalli in Sagar on Thursday.

The lorry, belonging to Indian Oil Corporation, laden with over 20 cylinders was moving from Sagara to Kargal when the driver lost control of the lorry causing it to topple. The impact caused the explosion.

Fire personnel who arrived at the spot and brought the fire in control.

A case has been registered with the Sagara rural police.
