Video of Cong MLA threatening forest officer goes viral

Shivamogga: A video of Congress MLA for Bhadravathi B.K. Sangameshwar threatening a forest officer has gone viral on social media.
In the 95-second video, Sangamesh is seen speaking to a forest officer, over the phone and asking him to ensure that the forester at Kodligere, does not object to the construction of the temple.
The MLA made the call to the officer after performing the ground-breaking ceremony for construction of the temple in Kudligere village.
During the telephonic conversation, Sangameshwar threatened the officer to chop off the officer’s limbs if he intervened in the issue.
Soon after the video went viral on Sunday, January 6 Sangameshwar expressed that he regretted using abusive language against the officer. He further defending himself said that some forest staffers demanded bribes to allow the construction of the temple at the small piece of land which.
the forester leg or hand is chopped off if he stops construction of the temple.
