Road accident injured police constable succumbs

Moodbidri: The police constable, who suffered grievous injuries as a result of a road accident on February 4 has lost his battle for life. The deceased is Jagadish (23), originally from Echala Nagenahalli village in Chitradurga. He was giving his service as police constable at Moodbidri police station.

The accident

Jagadish was riding his bike when a tipper lorry hit his bike head on at Vishal Nagara here resulting in the bike rider getting injured seriously. He was admitted at a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment and was unconscious. Jagadish’s marriage was fixed on February 22nd this year.

After getting selected a police constable, Jagadish started his service from Moodbidri police station. He is the sole son for his parents and it is learnt that he has a elder sister. He was strength of his family and his demise has caused a world shattering shock to his family. Police officials have expressed condolences on Jagadish’s demise.
