Hit-and-run case: Biker dragged, crushed to death by  unidentified vehicle

Kundapur: In a reported case of hit-and-run, a biker was crushed to death after an unidentified vehicle collided into his bike at Arate Bridge in the taluk on Tuesday, February 19. 

The deceased, Vikhyath (24), a resident of  Bavikatte near Gangolli was employed at a hotel.

Vikhyath’s body was crushed beyond recognition in the mishap which took place at around 12.30 am on Tuesday. It is gathered that the vehicle driver dragged the bike for nearly two kilometres till Hemmady and drove away from the spot.

Gangolli police registered a case and have begun investigations.
