Woman killed, five injured after car falls into a ravine on Subramanya-Gundya state highway

Kadaba: A woman was killed on the spot and five others sustained injuries after the car in which they were travelling plummeted into a ravine at Anila on Subramanya-Gundya state highway on Sunday.

As per reports, the car was moving towards Gundya from Subramanya when its driver lost control over the vehicle and rammed into a  roadside retention wall whereafter the car fell into the gorge. 

The identity of the deceased and the injured people are yet to be ascertained. The injured were admitted to a Puttur hospital for treatment.
