Teenager’s murder: POCSO case registered

Udupi: The police have registered a case under POCSO Act in connection to the finding of the murdered corpse of a teenage girl lying beside the railway tracks at Sagri near Manipal.

The deceased is a 17-year-old girl and it is mostly confirmed that she was raped. In this backdrop, it is learnt that the police have registered the case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
