Rebel legislators will reveal details of deal with BJP soon, says UTK

Mangaluru: A day after the coalition government lost the floor test in Karnataka Assembly, Congress MLA U T Khader alleged that BJP would have spent more than one thousand crore rupees for purchasing rebel MLAs.

Speaking to press persons here on Wednesday July 24, Khader said that the BJP exploited difference of opinions among the coalition leaders to their advantage and offered offered huge money to the rebel MLAs to topple the government.

Stressing on the reveleation made by MLA Srinivas Gowda about BJP’s offer to switch loyalties, Khader exuded confidence that the rebel legislators themselves would reveal details of the deal they struck with BJP within few months.

Khader said that his party upholds democratic beliefs and according have accepted defeat.

He condemned the central government’s move to weaken Right to Information (RTI) Act by introducing amendment to it. Khader said that the amendment was detrimental to state interests as the central government can deny information sought under the RTI Act which has been helpful in exposing several scams in the past.

Regarding the dengue outbreak in Dakshina Kannada Khader urged people to maintain clean surroundings.
