Mangaluru: While several people from Dakshin Kannada rued the lack of representation in the state cabinet for the region despite electing BJP on most seats, BJP leaders from Sullia have decided to resign from the party.
The decision was taken by the leaders at the meeting in Bengaluru in the backdrop of the rejection of ministerial berth to Sullia MLA S Angara.
Meanwhile, Angara hit out saying that his constituents were unhappy that he was denied the chance of becoming a minister.
“I have practised ethics and values in public life. It is unfortunate that those values are being ignored,” he said.
