Missing student appears in police station after getting married

Puttur: A girl student residing at a rented house located in the outskirts of the city in Nehrunagar, who had gone missing on Monday night has presented herself at Puttur Women’s police station on Tuesday after getting married to her lover.
The girl identified Raksha (19), daughter of Gopala Gowda, originally from Muliya in Kodimbala village of Kadaba taluk, presently residing at a rented house in Nehrunagar, is pursuing 1st year course at the law college in the city had gone missing on Monday night. Consequently, Gopala filed a missing complaint at the womens police station here.
Meanwhile, Raksha and Rajesh, son of Devappa Naik of Kodimbala, went to a temple located on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday and got married there. They then presented themselves at the said police station. They gave statements that they were in love with each other and hence got married, informed the cops.
