K’taka bypolls: Sharath’s supporters stage protest outside BSY’s house seeking ticket

Bengaluru: Supporters of BJP MP BN Bache Gowda’s son Sharath Bache Gowda on Tuesday staged a protest outside Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa’s residence seeking ticket for their leader to contest by-poll from Hoskote.

Sharath BacheGowda’s supporters staged a protest after BJP reportedly promised ticket to disqualified MLA MTB Nagaraj.

The unsuccessful candidate in the 2018 Assembly elections, Sharath Bachegowda who is seeking the ticket though the party may have to give in to the pressure of disqualified MLA, M.T.B. Nagaraj, informed sources.

However, Sharath Bache Gowda is determined to contest the by-polls from Hoskote as an independent candidate if BJP denies him a ticket.
