Bengaluru: Karnataka Congress responding to BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel’s statement that the party remains headless even after six months, said, “The person who doesn’t know the number of districts in the state has no right to talk about our party.”
“Before talking about our party, look at your status in BJP, despite being the state president. Serving Chief Minister’s son is not the nation’s service. You don’t know the number of districts in the state, which is ridiculous. You are not bothered about the development of the nation. You only like to spread hatred and divide this country,” tweeted the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee’s official Twitter handle.
Taking a jibe at Congress, which is yet to appoint KPCC chief, Kateel had said that after the party’s rout in the bye-elections it has become headless.
“Congress leadership is not able to get a leader for its state unit even after six months. In its 135-year-old history, Congress had never reached such a pathetic situation that it is in today,” said Kateel.
