ACT to hold desi puppies and kittens adoption camp on Mar 1

Mangaluru: With the aim to provide forever loving homes to abandoned, homeless desi puppies and kittens Animal Care Trust, Shakthinagar (ACT) has been regularly organising adoption camps in association with other organisations in around Mangalore and neighbouring cities.

One such free Desi Pups and Kittens adoption camp will be organised on March 1, Sunday at Achal-Phalguni Urva and Aura-The Place, Chilimbi from 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m.

In addition to encouraging people to adopt a pup/kitten, ACT also aims at creating awareness among people about the benefits of adopting a desi puppy/kitten. As some studies have shown that having a pet can have positive health effects – such as decreasing depression, anxiety, stress so on so forth.

Those who wish to adopt are required to get their valid Photo ID proof for registration to the camp were over 20 vaccinated pups and 10 kittens put up for adoption. Adopting families will also have access to advise about pet care at home.
