KMC Manipal receives approval to conduct COVID-19 test

Bengaluru/Manipal: Kasturba Medical College hospital at Manipal – along with two other private laboratories in the state – has received approval by the Central government to conduct tests for determining coronavirus in samples from suspected patients.

The two other entities in the State to receive the approval are Shankar Research Centre and SRL Laboratory.

A total of 12 such private laboratories in the country have received approval to conduct tests adding almost 15,000 swab collection and testing centres across the country.
