Over 20 Tabhligi Jamaat attendees Quarantined in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru: Most of the people who attended Tableeghi Jamaat congregation at Nizamuddin, Delhi, have been tested and put under quarantine in Karnataka.

Various foreign nationals who came to attend the meeting have settled down in various mosques throughout the country and similarly in Karnataka.

In Dakshina Kannada 41 participants have been identified and out of them 21 are quarantined in Mangaluru.

MLA Dr Bharatha Shetty said that most of the participants are asymptomatic, but they are quarantined as per standard procedure. Although the participants have passed the Covid-19 incubation period, they are still being quarantined as a precautionary measure.
