Covid-19: No decision on opening schools yet, says Edu Min

Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister on Monday said that the government has not yet taken any decision on re-opening of schools.

Speaking to reporters at a press meet regarding SSLC examination, Kumar said that no date has been decided as of now by the education department.

“There are discussions on when will be an opportune time to open schools and colleges. Neither the government nor the education department have plans to reopen schools at the moment. Any decision will be taken based on opinion from parents and other stakeholders,” he said.
