In Malnad’s Chikmagalur, the heavy downpour was reported in Koppa, Sringeri, Narasimharajapura, Mudigere taluks on Monday and Tuesday.

The heavy rains have caused high water flows in the slopes and highlands and the Tunga, Bhadra and Hemavathi rivers of Malnad. Due to this the bridge on Bhadra river has become gullible to be inundated.
