Canara Workshops managing director Srinivas V Kudva no more

Mangaluru: Chairman and Managing Director of The Canara Workshops Ltd. Srinivas V Kudva breathed his last at his residence in Nanthoor Saturday, August 29 night.

The 87-year-old is survived by wife Sharada, two sons Premnath Kudva and Vasanth Kudva, two daughters Shaila and Neena.

His funeral rites will be held today afternoon.

Born in the year 1933, Srinivas Kudva obtained his MS degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Lehigh University in U.S.A and later returned to India to join hands with his father, Vaman Srinivas Kudva at The Canara Workshops Ltd.

Srinivas Kudva was a philanthropist and had set up the V.S. Kudva Foundation which provided assistance to students education by offering scholarships as well as other social projects.

Well-wishers, relatives, personnel of Canara Workshop and CPC transport organization have expressed their condolences on the demise of Srinivas Kudva.
