Harkur Manjayya Shetty quits Congress joins BJP

Kundapura: In a suprising development, former Congress leader, zilla panchayat member, Aalur-Harkur Sahakari Seva Sangha president Harkur Manjayya Shetty has left the Congress and joined the BJP in the presence of Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty on Wednesday, September 2.

He was inducted into the party and given the party flag and a shawl.

Byndoor BJP President Deepak Kumar Shetty, zilla panchayat member Rohit Kumar Shetty, Shankar Poojary, Shobha G Putran, taluk panchayat member Umesh Shetty Kalgade and others were present during the occassion.
