Mundragi Taluk Health Officer dies of Covid-19

Gadag: Taluk Health Officer, Dr Basavaraj K who was  infected with Covid-19 died on Wednesday, Sep 2.

He was tested positive for Covid-19 on Aug 9 and was being treated at KIMS hospital in Hubbali. He was later admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment. However, the treatment failed and Basavaraj died on Wednesday Sep 2.

Basavaraj belongs to Yadrami village, Harrappa Taluk of Ballari district and was serving as the health officer of Mundragi Taluk. He is married and has two kids
