‘Cannot even afford a nanny’: British PM Johnson mulling resignation due to low salary

British PM Boris Johnson is reportedly mulling to resign from his designation after six months as he is unable to cope with his £150,000 salary, that cannot even afford a nanny.

As per reports, Johnson earns approximately $1,95,000, that is, £1,50,400 and he plans on resigning to leave office as soon as he gets Brexit done and navigating his country through the coronavirus pandemic.

Further, it was said that UK’s PM doesn’t have a housekeeper, and with his pay could only afford one home cleaner at his flat in Downing Street, which is said, was not a nice place to live. He also needs to pay ex-wife Marina Wheeler a significant part of his income as alimony and his 7-year-old son Wilfred still needs financial support.

As per the reports published in Sunday Mirror, UK’s parliament and Tory MPs were in fact gearing up to look into some potential PM options over speculation about Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s resignation in the spring post achieving a Brexit deal.

Johnson has repeatedly sounded disappointed about his survival made challenging over the salary of £150,402, a meager pay compared to his expenses.

Previously, Johnson had a steady income of $30,000 per month and $355584 annually as a Daily Telegraph columnist.
