M’luru ComPol visits Thokkottu accident spot that claimed life of newlyweds

Mangaluru: City police commissioner Vikas Kumar visited the spot where a newly married couple was killed on October 27 when the two-wheeler they were riding on collided with a truck near the Thokkottu overbridge.

Bajal resident Ryan Fernandes (30) and his wife Priya Fernandes (32) were on their way to their rented house at Bangera Lane at Ullal when the collision occurred.

Kumar visited the spot and met with officials and ordered immediate implementation of the security measures. In addition, he also instructed the Traffic Police DCP to ensure service roads are used by motorists for safety.
