New Delhi: The air quality improved in parts of Delhi on Tuesday morning, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) in several places including Lodhi Road (119), ITO area (176) and Rohini (186) in the ‘moderate’ category. However, the AQI remained in the ‘poor’ category in several places like Najafgarh (213) and Nehru Nagar (201).

Delhi had recorded the worst pollution levels on Diwali in the last four years due to the combined effect of stubble burning, firecrackers and unfavourable meteorological conditions.
