RSS activist accident: Police investigation reveals death caused by tipper

Puttur: Police officials have arrested the driver of a tipper which hit the motorbike of Senior RSS leader Venkataramana Holla. The tipper driver has been identified as Charan Kumar from Panaje.

Holla died in a road accident at Polya near Kabaka in Puttur on Tuesday, Dec 15. Holla, who had attended an RSS Baitak on Monday, Dec 14, had stayed back at Puttur and was returning home when the mishap occurred

The tipper driver had fled from the spot and it was believed that the mishap occurred when the bike which Holla was riding rammed into a divider at Polya. But it was later revealed that his head was crushed on one side and upon further investigation police found that his bike was hit by a tipper

Holla is a resident of Agrabail and was the pramukh of the gram vikasunit of Mangaluru division of RSS.
