K’taka COVID-19 update: 857 new cases, 964 discharges, 7 deaths on Dec 25

Bengaluru: On Christmas, 857 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 964 recoveries and 7 deaths due to the virus.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in the State till date has risen to 9,15,345 out of which 13,394 cases are presently active and 12,051 dead.

205 COVID-19 patients are presently undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units in the State.

Bengaluru Urban district recorded 471 cases on the same day – the highest in the State. All other districts reported less than 65 cases.
