Mangaluru: Police arrest man accused of stealing batteries from trucks

Mangaluru: The city police here have arrested a man who stole batteries from parked trucks.
Irfan (25), from Bajal area in the city, is the arrested accused.
The police acted against the accused after a complaint filed by the logistics manager of Ganesh Shipping Agency.
The accused had allegedly stolen batteries from five trucks parked in the NMPT timber yard at Panambur on January 9.
The police recovered the five batteries worth Rs 58,000 from him and seized a scooter used during the robbery.
