Bengaluru: Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Wala on Friday directed Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to prove his majority in the House before 6 pm today after the assembly failed to meet the earlier deadline given by him.

Vala in a letter written to the chief minister directed him to complete the trust vote and decide the fate of the ruling Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition in the state by 6 pm.

Reacting to the letter, Kumaraswamy said that the second love letter sent by the governor has hurt him. He has requested the speaker to protect him from the letter sent by the governor.
