Amid rift speculations, state govt appoints new dist in-charge ministers

Bengaluru: The state government on Tuesday, June 2 appointed Minister for Irrigation Ramesh Jarkiholi as the new district in-charge minister of Belagavi.

Apart from Jarkiholi, food and civil supplies minister K Gopaiah has been appointed as district in-charge minister of Hassan replacing Minister for Parliamentary Affairs J Madhuswamy. The latter has been appointed district in-charge minister of Tumkur.

The new appointments came amid speculations of a discontent brewing within the ruling BJP government
