Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Janagraha meeting, Shobhayatra today

Mangaluru: Janagraha meeting on the issue of constructing Ram temple at Ayodhya will be held at the Nehru Maidan today. This meeting is expected to be attended by scores of people, sages, pro-hindutva leaders and workers. The main speech will be delivered by Bajrang Dal national convenor Sohan Singh Solanki.
Shobha Yatra
A Shobha Yatra will be held from Ambedkar Junction at 2:30 pm. The massive Janagraha meeting will be begin at 4 pm at Nehru ground, informed Sharan Pumpwell, VHP Manaluru division secretary
Police presence beefed up
In order to maintain law and order a big contingent of police personnel will be deployed. The forces deployed will include 2 DSP’s , 10 officers of ACP level, 40 police inspectors, 70 PSI, 1,400 staff, 10 KSRP platoon, 14 DAR/CAR platoon and additionally 300 police personnel from other districts have been requisitioned, said T R Suresh, police commissioner Mangaluru.
Vehicle parking facility
Parking facility has been made for the people taking part in the meeting
- For vehicles coming from Moodbidri, Yedapadav, Kaikamba, Gurupur, Vamanjoor will pass via Nanthoor-Mallikatte road and drop the people at Bunts Hostel and the park the vehicles at Bunts Hotel Ground.
- Vehicles coming from Surathkal, Kulur, Kottara, Ladyhill, Lalbhag will pass through PVS and drop the people at Bunts hostel and the park the vehicles at Bunts Hotel Ground.
- Vehicles coming from Kinnigoli, Bajpe will pass through Kavoor – Yeyyadi – Nanthoor – Mallikatte and drop the people at Bunts Hostel and the park the vehicles at Bunts Hotel Ground.
- Vehicles coming from Sullia, Puttur, Vittal, Belthangady will pass via B C Road –Padil-Pumpwell-Kankanady and drop the people at Balmatta circle and then park the vehicles at Yemmekere by passing through Shanti Nilaya road.
- Vehicles coming from Thokottu will pass via Pumpwell-Kankanady and drop people at Balmatta circle and an then park the vehicles on either sides of Pandeshwar road by passing through Mangaladevi road.
- Buses and four wheelers from within the city can park their vehicles on either sides of Rosario and St Anns School and two wheelers can be parked on either sides of the cricket ground within the Nehru ground.
